Stara Novalja

Stara Novalja is situated on a gentle slope on the northwestern part of Pag Island. Asequence of sandy beaches separated by capes stretch along several miles of the quiet small bay.Tirinćel is an attractive sandy beach at the entrance into Stara Novalja. With numerous sea food specialties offered in several restaurants, even the hardest-to-please winelovers will be satisfied in the wine-shop Boškinac, situated in Novaljsko polje, which, in addition to the local wine, offers paški sir (a well-known brand of cheese), pršut (smoked ham) and salted fish.
