Daraufhin folgt der Weg zur Bucht Svetojanj, auf welchem Berg sich eine byzantinische Festung aus dem 6. Jahrhundert befindet, die von der strategischen Bedeutung dieses Gebietes zur Zeit des Ostr\u00f6mischen Reiches zeugt, denn sie diente zur Sicherheitskontrolle der Schifffahrten durch den Velebit-Kanal. Bis zur Festung ist es ein Fu\u00dfweg von ungef\u00e4hr einer Stunde und die Ankunft an der Spitze wird mit einem unvergleichbaren Blick auf das Gebirge Velebit und seinen Kanal
