Itinerary

26.04 Hiking Life on Mars Trail + Via Ferrata

The tour begins in Metajna, on Ručica Beach, one of the most famous beaches on the island of Pag, where participants are greeted by the guide with the necessary equipment. The tour sets off toward Beriknica Beach, with the first stop scheduled there and an opportunity for swimming. Beriknica Beach is known for its unforgettable view of three naturally placed stone rocks rising from the sea. After a break, the tour continues toward the Slana cove, surrounded by rocky cliffs that create an atmosphere of peace and privacy. As you approach the beach, you’ll pass through the first sea via ferrata in Croatia. The ferrata is between 1 and 2 meters above the sea, which is about 1 meter deep. It stretches 100 meters and is secured with iron footholds and cables. As you make your way along the ferrata, you’ll feel a rush of adrenaline. Once you complete the ferrata, the route continues along a ridge toward a viewpoint, where you’ll have time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the stunning moonlike landscape. The return route takes you past the impressive climbing rock Stogaj. By the end of the tour, you’ll feel fulfilled, knowing you’ve pushed the limits of hiking and experienced an incredible adventure.

30.04. Hiking tour Svetojanj

You will meet the guide at the very end of Stara Novalja, near the former ferry dock Drljanda. The hike begins shortly after with an ascent along a gravel road. The route is marked by a unique view of the island of Rab and the Velebit Channel.The trail then descends toward the bay of Veliki Svetojanj, offering a view of the fortress of the same name. Svetojanj is a Byzantine fortress from the 6th century, a witness to the strategic importance of this area during the Eastern Roman Empire. After ascending to the top of the fortress, the hike continues toward the secluded beach of Lusk, where a short break with swimming is possible. Next, the trail leads to a viewpoint overlooking the fortress, the imposing Velebit mountain, and its channel. The route continues toward the Svetojašnica pond, one of the few preserved ponds on the island of Pag, which has long been a source of life for the island’s sheep. The hike proceeds toward the quarry, passing through a green oasis known as the Novalja Field, and ends with a return to Novalja at the starting point.

01.05. Bike tour Svetojanj

The tour begins in Novalja, at the Sunturist travel agency, where the guide welcomes you and introduces the route. After picking up the equipment, the ride starts toward the Novalja Field. Cycling along vineyards and through rich plant and animal life is a true pleasure. Upon arriving at the small church of St. Anthony and a natural spring of drinking water, a break is taken in the shade of tall treetops. The tour then continues toward the bay of Stara Novalja, followed by a relaxing ride along the coastal promenade and the benefits of the sea aerosol. Upon reaching the Drljanda dock, the route continues along a gravel path in the direction of Jadra beach. The climb is rewarded with a unique view of the Velebit Channel and the Kvarner archipelago. The route then passes through the old and new parts of Zaglava, past Boškinac, and returns through the Novalja Field to the starting point.

03.05. Hiking tour Life on Mars Trail

The program starts at Ručica Beach. The route begins through a karst landscape along the Pag Bay towards Beriknica Beach, one of the most beautiful on the island of Pag. It is known for a natural installation formed by three unusually shaped rocks, created by thousands of years of exposure to the strong bora wind. The route continues towards Stogaj, a uniquely shaped rock that attracts many climbers. The trail proceeds to Slana Bay, where a short break with swimming is possible. The tour then heads toward Seline Bay, offering a stunning view of the Velebit Channel. The tour ends with a return to the starting point along the same path.

17.05. SUP tour Caska

 The meeting point with the guide is at Caska Beach, from where the activity begins. The guide introduces participants to the equipment and gives basic instructions on how to maintain balance—then the adventure can begin. The tour heads southeast toward Zrće Beach, offering a new way to experience its daytime beauty. After paddling around Cape Zrće, the group arrives at the beach for the first stop and a swim break. The tour continues to the opposite side of the bay to the attraction known as Tunera, where the second stop is planned. Tunera is an old stone tower once used as a tuna lookout in the Pag Bay. Above Tunera are the remains of the Romanesque Church of St. George. Combined with the fact that participants paddle above the remnants of a Roman city from the 4th century, this tour becomes a fun and historical experience! The activity ends with a return to the starting point.

The kayak tour starts toward Beriknica Beach, where the first stop is planned for rest and swimming amid a striking karst landscape and crystal-clear sea. The tour continues to Slana Bay, known for its wide, beautiful sandy beaches and dramatic flat rock formations rising from the sea. After paddling through the bay, kayaks are left on the shore, and the adrenaline-filled part begins: via ferrata. As you cross above the sea, you’ll feel connected to nature and your own strength. The ferrata offers an impressive view over the water. After completing the route, participants paddle to Sušac Beach for swimming and relaxation. The tour ends with a return paddle to Ručica. 29.05 Night hiking tour Life on Mars Trail

The activity starts at Ručica Beach. The guide explains the route and provides each participant with a headlamp for safe walking. The trail begins through the karst landscape along Pag Bay toward Beriknica Beach, one of the island’s most beautiful, known for three unusually shaped rocks formed by centuries of strong bora winds. The route continues toward the impressive climbing rock Stogaj, then on to Slana Bay, above which lies a freshwater spring. The bay’s rock formations create a private, serene atmosphere. From there, the hike leads to Seline Bay, with an option to swim. Deeply set into the land, this bay offers a feeling of seclusion heightened by the night ambiance. From the beach, views of the Velebit Mountain inspire awe. The tour returns via the same path to Ručica, with a chance to swim along the way.

31.05. Kayak tour Pag bay

The tour begins at Ručica Beach, where the guide provides instructions and equipment. Kayaking starts toward the sandy cape of Sušac. The route runs below the dramatic rocks of Stogaj and Teplica, along a string of long, sandy beaches. The first break with swimming is planned at Sušac. Afterward, the tour continues to Gače Cave. Sandy shores give way to a rocky coastline, with views of the islets Veli and Mali Maškalić and the rocky divide between Mali Zaton and Veli Zaton beaches. Gače Cave stretches around 100 meters and includes a paddle-through section. The next stop is Malin Beach, with a freshwater spring. After a rest and swim, the final swim stop is at Beriknica Beach, marked by three large stones in the sea—a symbol of the island. The tour ends with a paddle back to Ručica.

The tour finishes by returning to the starting point, passing the impressive Stogaj climbing rock. 11.06. Night kayaking tour Full Moon - Pag Bay

The tour begins at Ručica Beach in Metajna. After the guide’s introduction and receiving equipment, the group paddles toward Slana Beach. The silence of the night, interrupted only by the sound of paddles on water, creates a calming and meditative atmosphere. Moonlight reflecting on the sea offers a magical scene as you glide through the dark. A short break is planned at Slana Beach, where the moon illuminates the surroundings, revealing the unique landscape. Afterward, the group paddles to Beriknica Beach for a longer stop. Famous for its trio of large sea rocks, the beach looks stunning bathed in moonlight. Participants enjoy a refreshing drink here before paddling back to Ručica Beach.

13.06. Hiking tour Svetojanj

The meeting point with the guide is at the very end of Stara Novalja, near the former ferry pier Drljanda. The hike soon begins with an ascent along a gravel road, offering stunning views of the island of Rab and the Velebit Channel. The route continues with a descent to Veliki Svetojanj Bay, from where there is a view of the fortress bearing the same name. Svetojanj is a Byzantine fortress dating back to the 6th century, a testament to the strategic importance of this area during the Eastern Roman Empire. 14.06. SUP tour Caska

The meeting with the guide is organized at Caska Beach, where the activity also begins. The guide introduces participants to the equipment and provides essential tips for maintaining balance, and the adventure can begin. The tour heads southeast toward Zrće Beach, which can now be experienced in a completely new way—in its peaceful daytime beauty. After passing Cape Zrće, the first stop is at the beach for a break and swimming. Paddling continues toward the opposite side of the bay, to its highlight—Tunera, where the second stop for swimming and rest is planned. Tunera is an old stone tower that once served as a tuna lookout in the Pag Bay. Above Tunera, the remains of the Romanesque church of St. George (Sv. Juraj) are visible. Combined with the fact that paddling across Caska Bay takes you above the remains of a 4th-century Roman town, this tour becomes both a fun and historical experience! The tour ends with a return to the starting point.

17.06. Bike tour Kolan

The cycling tour begins in Novalja at the Sunturist agency, where you meet the guide and receive your bike and helmet. The route follows along the town beach, then turns onto a paved road toward Škunca’s Stani. The ride continues on a gravel path to Kolan Field, soon revealing a stunning view of the landscape. The tradition of sheep farming was once deeply rooted in this area, as evidenced by the old shepherd’s huts, and the experience is often enriched by encounters with sheep along the way. The tour arrives at Rogoza Beach, located at the base of the Kolanjsko Blato ornithological reserve, a wetland habitat renowned for its rich and diverse wildlife, particularly bird species. A rest stop and swimming opportunity are planned here. The route then continues along a gravel road toward Roman wells and the small church of St. Jerome (Sv. Jeronim). The path rejoins part of the initial route, leading to a return to the starting point.

27.06. Night SUP tour - Stara Novalja bay

The night SUP tour begins in the bay of Stara Novalja, where the guide introduces participants to the tour plan, the basics of paddling on a SUP board, and provides the necessary equipment. The adventure starts with gentle paddling through the calm waters of the bay, illuminated by LED lights on the boards, creating a special visual experience and lighting up the seabed. During the tour, participants enjoy the view of the crystal-clear sea and the starry sky, with short breaks for relaxation and soaking in the night atmosphere. The tour lasts approximately two hours and is suitable for all experience levels, offering a unique opportunity to unwind and explore the natural beauty of the Adriatic.

28.06. Kayak tour + Via ferrata

The activity begins at Ručica Beach in the village of Metajna. Crossing the via ferrata offers an impressive view of the sea beneath you. After completing the ferrata, the tour continues by kayak to Sušac Beach for swimming and relaxation. The activity ends with a return paddle back to Ručica Beach.

03.07. Kayak tour Pag bay

The tour begins at Ručica Beach, where, following an introductory briefing by the guide, participants receive all the necessary equipment. The kayaking adventure starts toward the sandy cape of Sušac. As you paddle beneath the impressive cliffs of Stogaj and Teplica, along vast and extended sandy beaches strung together like pearls, the experience becomes pure enjoyment. The first swimming break is planned at Sušac Beach.

The kayaking continues across to the opposite side of Pag Bay, surrounded by spectacular karst landscapes and crystal-blue sea. Paddling past the islets of Veli Maškalić and Mali Maškalić, and skirting the rocky hill of Mali Zaton Beach, the tour reaches the pebbly beach of Veli Zaton, where the second swimming break is scheduled. This beach offers a spectacular view of Mount Velebit and Paška Vrata, the passage connecting Pag Bay to the Velebit Channel.

After a relaxing break, the tour proceeds to the opposite side of the bay towards the Gače Cave, approximately one hundred meters long with an exit on the other side — part of which is navigated by kayak. The route then continues toward Malin, a secluded pebble beach near a freshwater spring, offering another swimming stop. The final swimming break is at Beriknica Beach, famous for its natural “installation” of three uniquely shaped stone formations rising from the sea, making it a recognizable symbol of the island of Pag. After a relaxing stop, the tour concludes with a kayak journey back to Ručica Beach.

07.07. Kayak tour Svetojanj

The tour begins at the former ferry dock Drljanda in Stara Novalja. After the guide provides introductory information about the itinerary, participants receive the necessary equipment. The kayaking route sets off northeast along the coast.

After passing Jadra, a beautiful beach where a swimming break is possible, the tour continues around the islet of Triget, whose underwater cliffs plunge as deep as 45 meters. A visit to Slatina, a nearby beach with rocky shores and several freshwater springs, is also part of the route.

Kayaking continues toward Koromačina Beach, located under the watchful presence of a lighthouse. The highlights of the tour are the coves of Veliki and Mali Svetojanj. After a relaxing break in these coves, the route proceeds to the small, secluded beach of Lusk, accessed through an adventurous paddle along a mystical canyon.

The final stop of the tour is Vojska Beach, where a freshwater spring emerges right on the shoreline. Vojska Bay is shallow, with a gently sloping coastal area, making it an ideal spot for one last swim. The tour concludes with a return paddle to Drljanda.

09.07. Night Glow SUP tour

Caska Beach, located on the northwest side of Pag Bay, is one of the most famous beaches on the island thanks to its shallow sandy cove, making it an excellent starting point for a guided SUP tour. After receiving introductory instructions and equipment from the guide, the tour begins towards Zrće Beach, the island’s most famous party beach, which you’ll experience in a completely different way, enjoying a panoramic view from the sea.

As you paddle towards Zrće Beach, you’ll get to know the unique landscape of Pag Bay. The first break for rest and swimming is planned when you reach the beach. After sunset, colorful lanterns below the SUP boards light up the water, creating an unforgettable night-time sea experience.

As you approach the Tunera Tower, you’ll enjoy the view of the sparkling sandy seabed, and perhaps even feel the spirit of past times while paddling over a submerged Roman settlement. The second break for swimming is planned near the Tunera Tower. After the break, you’ll return to Caska Beach, where you can enjoy a night swim.

10.07. Night kayaking tour Full Moon - Pag Bay

The tour begins at Ručica Beach in the village of Metajna. After the introductory briefing from the guide and the distribution of equipment, kayaking begins towards Slana Beach. The silence of the night, accompanied only by the sound of paddles touching the water, provides a peaceful and relaxing experience while kayaking. The moonlight reflecting on the water creates a spectacular view as you paddle through the night.

A short break is planned at Slana Beach, where the moonlight illuminates the surroundings, allowing you to enjoy the contours of the landscape and the unique atmosphere. After the break, the journey continues towards Beriknica Beach, where a longer stop is planned. Beriknica is one of the most attractive beaches on Pag Island, renowned for its natural arrangement of three large rock formations in the sea. It is an extraordinary experience to observe these rocks bathed in the moonlight. Each participant will receive a refreshing drink on the beach.

After the break, the tour returns to Ručica Beach, concluding this unforgettable night adventure.

The total duration of the tour is approximately three hours, including two breaks for rest and swimming on the beaches. The tour starts with paddling towards Zrće Beach, which you’ll experience in a completely new way, enjoying its daytime beauty. After passing around the cape of Zrće, the first break is planned for rest and swimming at the beach.

Then, you’ll continue paddling towards the opposite side of the bay and its landmark, the Tuner tower, where a second break is planned for swimming. Tuner is an old stone tower that once served as a watchtower for tuna fishing in the Pag Bay. Above it, you can see the remains of the Romanesque church of St. George.

The tour is enriched with the fact that paddling in this bay takes you over a submerged Roman settlement from the 4th century, making it both a fun and historical experience!

The hiking tour begins in Kolan and continues along the shepherds’ paths towards the highest point of the island. Sveti Vid is a rocky hill with remnants of a prehistoric fortification at an elevation of 349 meters, making it one of the largest prehistoric fortresses on the island. Since the 14th century, it has served as a religious site, with a small church of St. Vid.

It takes about an hour to reach the summit, where you can enjoy a fascinating view of the rich diversity of the island of Pag and its archipelago.

Beriknica is one of the most attractive beaches on the island of Pag, famous for its natural formation of three large stone pillars in the sea, and it’s a special experience to observe them illuminated by the brilliant moonlight. The tour concludes with a return paddle to Ručica Beach.

The kayaking portion begins with a paddle towards Beriknica Beach, where the first stop is planned for rest in the stunning setting of the karst landscape and clear waters. After the break, the tour continues towards the Slana Cove, a beautiful area with spacious, long, sandy beaches.

After passing through the cove, the kayaks are left on the shore, and it’s time to prepare for the adrenaline-packed part of the trip—the via ferrata crossing. The excitement builds as you traverse above the sea, connecting with nature and feeling the strength required to overcome the challenge. The via ferrata offers a breathtaking view of the sea below you.

The kayaking continues towards Koromačina Beach, which lies beneath the lighthouse. The highlight of the tour includes the stunning coves of Veliki and Mali Svetojanj. From the beach, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of Mount Velebit in all its grandeur, evoking a deep sense of respect and admiration.

The tour concludes with a return along the same path back to the starting point at Ručica Beach.

After the break, the tour proceeds towards the opposite side of the bay to the Gače Cave, which is about one hundred meters long and has an exit on the other side, where the kayak passes through part of the cave. After receiving an introduction and equipment from the guide, the tour begins towards Zrće Beach, the island’s most famous party beach, which you’ll experience in a completely different way, enjoying panoramic views from the sea. As you paddle towards Zrće, you’ll get to explore the unique landscape of Pag Bay, with its impressive cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and rich natural beauty.

The first stop for a break and swim is planned when you arrive at Zrće Beach, where you’ll have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the water. After sunset, colorful lanterns under the SUP boards are turned on, illuminating the water and creating an unforgettable night-time experience. As you approach the Tunera Tower, you’ll enjoy the view of the sparkling sandy seabed, and you may even feel the spirit of the past while paddling above the submerged Roman settlement.

As you approach the beach, you will pass by Croatia’s first sea via ferrata. The ferrata is between 1 and 2 meters above the sea, which is 1 meter deep. It is 100 meters long and secured with iron footholds and cables. As you go through the ferrata, you will feel an adrenaline rush.

After passing the ferrata, the route continues along the ridge towards the viewpoint, where there will be time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the stunning moonlit landscape. The return journey to the starting point then follows, passing the impressive climbing rock, Stogaj.
