Activity description
Bošana Beach is located under the steep rocks near the city of Pag. It offers a magnificent view of the Pag bay. It is part of a Special Forest Reserve of Dubrava – Hanzine, which is known for the remains of an autochthonous oak forest. Over time, due to strong “bura” wind and a sediment of sea salt, the vegetation has developed resistance to the specific island climate. Research has proven the existence of valuable genetic material that has never been recorded in forestry.
