A way to find a perfect Croatian holiday

Sea Kayaking – Pag Bay

The fairy-tale atmosphere of the lunar landscape of Pag Bay will delight you with its overwhelming contrast of the blue skies and sea and the white stone. Get lost in the magic of the scenery and the views of the beautiful beaches which are often the main reason why tourists visit the island of Pag.

Activity description

The excursion begins at Ručica Beach, renowned for its inspiring scenery that has served as the backdrop for numerous film, music, and fashion shoots. After a briefing from the guide, participants will receive their equipment. The kayaking adventure starts towards the sandy cape of Sušac. As you paddle beneath the impressive cliffs of Stogaj and Teplica, passing long and spacious sandy beaches strung together like pearls, the experience becomes a true delight. The first break, with time for swimming, is planned at the sandy cape of Sušac.

After the break, kayaking continues towards the Gače Cave. The sandy beaches soon give way to a rocky coastline, while on the other side of the bay, you’ll see the islets of Veli Maškalić and Mali Maškalić, as well as the rocky barrier between the Mali Zaton and Veli Zaton beaches. Gače Cave features an exit on the other side, is about a hundred meters long, and kayakers will explore part of the cave by kayak.

The route continues to the sandy Malin Beach, where a never-ending source of fresh drinking water can be found. A break with swimming is planned here as well. The final swimming stop is at Beriknica Beach, famous for its natural installation of three large rocks rising from the sea, making it one of the symbols of the island of Pag. After the break, the tour concludes with a return paddle to Ručica Beach.
