The programme starts at the very end of Stara Novalja, where a professional guide informs the group about the itinerary and provides each participant with the headlamp in order to assure that every step during the hiking tour is safe, near the former ferry port, and continues along a macadam path towards the north-western side of the island of Pag and the cove of Svetojanj, with its 6th century Byzantine fortress which attests to the strategic importance of the area during the Eastern Roman Empire.

Following the guide's introductory instructions, the participants will be given the necessary equipment. The tour visits different beautiful beaches such as Sušac beach, Beriknica beach and Malin beach and also Gače Cave where participants have the opportunity to go through one part of the cave.
