The island of Pag is a North Dalmatian island. It is the most indented Adriatic island with the longest coast. The island abounds with natural beauties. It has a Mediterranean climate with long sunny periods. Small pebbles and sand scattered by the crystal clear sea create numerous beaches of unique beauty.
The Pag Bay cuts deeply into the island. It abounds in shells. Its sandy and pebbled beaches line a shore like pearls glittering in the clear sea and make the most luxurious necklace of the Adriatic. It opens near the town of Pag and its biggest and most beautiful jewel is the Zrće Beach in the vicinity of Novalja.
